Mr. Miller,

Just wanted to give you a testimonial/story.

I'm not a sniper or someone who spends their life behind a rifle or exmilitary or anything. I'm an engineer for pity's sake. Just a guy who enjoys long range shooting. Well, a friend of mine had given my one of your new M24 slings just prior to a Precision Rifle 2 class. At the class I didn't even know how to use the thing. Heck no instruction
manuals or anything. The first time I used it I realized I even had it on backwards. Kind of fumbling around with the thing I got it setup how I thought it should be. Still wrong. Anyways, the second day into the class we were shooting movers at 500 yrds. Speed about a jog. We had some time to burn before lunch and stayed at the 500 yr line shooting movers at will. Getting a little rambunctious I decided to try your sling for the first time offhand, standing. Well, much to my surprise and to the surprise of my partner (spotter) I hit the target (human silhouette) a bit off of center. Both of our jaws dropped. Figuring this was luck, tried it again. Hit!! Well, when it was all said and done I was averaging 3 out of 5 hits on a 500 yrd mover. I was impressed. I'm quite confident that if I was in better shape physically I would have done better. My M40A3 kind of wanna-be is damn heavy!

To break the story down, heavy rifle, guy who needs to spend more time in the gym, improperly set up sling, first time shooting 500 yrd movers, first time using the sling, shooter of limited abilities and I was
hitting 500 yrd movers. Pretty impressive. Thanks.

When I get the financial situation squared away, just was married a month ago $$$$'s. I'm going to order some more of your slings for other rigs.

One impressed individual.
Thanks,
Fitz.

To whom it may concern;

As a professional military sniper and sniper trainer I see many products intended for the tactical precision community being offered/sold/used (and many times thrown away). Few if any are as useful as the Tactical Intervention Slings. They allow competition accuracy in field conditions by allowing the sniper / precision rifleman to take up a sling supported position in a matter of seconds regardless of position or location. Traditional slings are intended merely to carry a rifle, TI slings have taken this simplistic use and turned it into a shooting asset making the sling a dual function piece of kit.

The versatility of this simple device is without equal and in an arena were peoples lives depend on the shooter's ability to deliver accurate rifle fire at the precise moment the TI sling definitely brings something to the fight. I have absolutely no reservations what so ever about recommending this product to any professionals in the military or law enforcement community.

Mike,

Tactical Intervention Slings are absolutely the finest, strongest shooting slings I have ever had the pleasure to use. Period. They are built for one thing...shooting. Anyone can build a carry strap but it takes a real shooter to design and build this type of sling and it is built to last! I can't imagine anyone breaking one of these- just a shame Bruce Willis didn't have one of Mikes' slings in Diehard! LOL! Every rifle I own is being switched over to a TIS.

Take care Mike,

After 25 years of playing with guns of all types, I thought I had pretty much seen it all...especially when it involved rifle slings. Until I received the first sling I purchased from Mike, a sling was a sling was a sling, you know?

I have owned and used Giles and Ching slings, and thought they served the intended purpose well. Mike's sling simply put the others into early retirement. This sling is, without a doubt, one of the best engineered, most well thought out, built-to-take-abuse pieces of equipment I own.

At last count I had one on each of 3 bolt guns, and 3 AR-15's.

Thanks Mike...best slings made, bar none.

The Tactical Intervention Sling is excellent. Transitioning from a carry to a sling supported position takes only seconds. The speed can be compared to using a hasty sling, but the rock solid support will show you why the comparison ends there. It should also be said that the sling is quite comfortable in the positions, due to the quality of material and thought that went into its creation.

Since buying the first Tactical Intervention sling and giving it a try, I have replaced every sling in the safe with Mikes. They are that good. Even if you choose not to use the cuff, they still outclass anything else on the market. I have six myself!

Thank you,

UnDude,
I am just blown away on how you stand behind your product and the lengths that you go insure customer satisfaction. You and your staff extend yourself's [sic] beyond expectations and I would be a lesser person if I did not publicly acknowledge your efforts. In the day and age of get as much as you can as fast as you can, you and your company will go far on word of mouth alone. Keep up the good work!!

The sling is truly better than the original version. I was skeptical you could improve upon it, but every change, specially the Bungee-Cuff arrangement is Tango-India-Tango-Sierra. Ain't none better! Too bad M-118LR isn't loaded with Varget, or is it? hmmmm.......

Mike,
Boy howdy, did I get the sling!
Thought that the pre-production one you sent me could not be improved upon. I was wrong. You're selling these things too cheap. Quality is outstanding, and design is without equal.

To all reading these posts.....you've probably all squandered $50.00 in a bar with your buddies and had nothing to show for it but a headache. Do yourself an immense favor and get one of these slings, and right now. Wish it was my design! [...]

Mike makes a great sling, one which I wish that I was qualified to review. It's innovative, user friendly design sets a standard for ALL sling manufacturers that I'm sure will be ignored by most of those manufacturers because of the hand work that is required.I doubt very seriously that Mike has made enough money on this project to defer the cost of the equipment, but from my limited dealings with him I would say that he is looking for and receiving payment that comes from knowing that he has provided someone with a product that is without peers. As is always the case a product is only as good as the man that sells it ,and in this case I have found them both to be OUTSTANDING.

Howdy all, just want to thank Mike Miller.

Cause i received his tactical sling today, and it really works great. Prone shooting is like shooting from a bench! It took some time before i got it, but it was worth the wait. And Mike has done alot to make sure i received it, he even threw in a muzzle mitten for free, because of the long wait. I can highly reccomend it for anyone who uses a long range rifle.

Mike, pleasure doing buiseness with you,

Just got my Tactical Intervention Sling made by Mike the Undude. What a piece of equipment! Everything they say about it true and then some. If any of you have been wondering about the cuff concept, and easy analogy is that it is similar to when you go to the doctor and they take your blood pressure. It is fully adjustable even for the biggest muscle bound arms (unlike mine). For a right handed shooter you place the cuff on your left arm and there is "female" quick snap. Then you unsnap the "male" quick snap on the actual sling and then you are connected. The sling has a piece of very durable elastic and when you actually pull the rifle to yourself, the elastic stretches and brings the rifle in a very stable position.[...]So chuck all those other tactical slings in your cases and call up Mike or e-mail him and order one today. [...] What's 50 bucks when you compare the cost of a tac rifle and scope. Don't be cheap bastards and get one. It is just another piece of great equipment which you won't be sorry getting.

Rifle Classes:
Here are a few notes from people concerning working with Mike Miller when he teaches precision rifle and counter-sniper techniques.

This testimonial was posted on Sniper Country:
Finally had a chance to work with Mike Miller. It was a real pleasure to have someone around that could not just talk the talk, but walk the walk. He is an excellent instructor and my students not only enjoyed him but learned from someone whose experience shows. He has an uncanny ability to make range estimations and corrections. He is just sick enough to be fun.

I also worked with his slings and mounted them on my FN. After I figured out how not to hang myself, I found they are preferrable to anything else I have used and superior to what I have been currently recommending. They are worth a hell of lot more than he charges.

BTW, the man can shoot. 3.75" at 600 yards under field conditions is good in my book anyway. He was also able to pick up my FN with NATO loads and hit a 20" disk at 750 yards with open sights. I did it, but it was my rifle. I'd take this guy on a mission anywhere, preferrably as point as he is a lot bigger than me and I can hide behind him:-) We had some great arguments about Wac0 and Ruby Ridge, the ATF and our favorite people, the FBI while we were crawling through the brush murdering rural rats (prairie dogs). Good men can disagree and remain great friends. A lesson that seem to be often forgotten here on the site at times.
